According to a politician, if everyone took a bus, it would keep 40 cars off the road?

This is the new green thing, going around that if everyone takes a bus it would keep 40 cars off the road per bus..... While, I believe that in no doubt, man is having an impact on the environment, i will not however just agree with anything with out first giving it thought, through and through! These advertisements are a misguided, and misconstrued attempt for the many environmental global issues at hand and i believe its and attempt for some railed politicians to look good during elections and in office..... This advertisement was a series of signs placed on buses in New York. Not everyone owns a car, not everyone is an adult, and number of riders are beyond driving or even owning a car, as this is unaffordable.... Unless they consider a baby boys hotwheels to be very unefficient! Hmmm i wonder what a hotwheels get for mileage these days..... An elected officials, once again screwing the public. I wonder what that mislead ad campaign cost the public???
