What yu-gi-oh! series should i watch?

you see, i'm confused.. i want to watch yu-gi-oh but i don't know the order.. what comes first , the abridge or the shadow games or the duel monster or something else..i wanted to watch it from the VERY START..and please tell me where to watch it for free with english sub.. thank you!
