I applied a fake tanning moisturizer and its blotchy on my toes where i didnt rub it in how do i get rid of it

it darker on my toes and im goin somewhere tonbight and im wearin sandals and i dont want it to look like i got a fake tan cause it works really good ite jergens naturla glow lotion and i used the darkest stuff because i have naturally very tan skin but i wanted it tanner
