Ok to clean ear piercing with Dove sensitive skin body wash?

the mildest soap I have here. its unscented, too. good to clean ear lobe piercing? I've heard ear care solution is actually bad to use- and I believe it cause my last piercing never healed after more than 6 months when I used the stuff they gave me at the piercing pagoda.
