Bald vs. Hair! Help me, I kinda offended here!?

Today, this person who I secretly like, asked me if I was bald by choice or heredity. I told her, by choice. Then she asked me to grow it to see how I would look with hair. Secretly, I got kinda offended because I felt like she was telling me I look ugly bald. I could be overreacting. what do u think? Do u think she think I am ugly? If I were cute, should it matter about how my hairstyle is presented? help me understand her and her comments
